First of all, an apology, I'm a bit late with this posting. So, before the Christmas season grips us fully, if it hasn't already in your house, I thought I'd do a layout that didn't include red, green or sparkles. This picture is of my Aunt Edith, and her son and daughter and grandchildren, my 'extended' immediate family. I let the paper lead the way on this one, using the blue writing on the pattern to give an accent colour. I stamped an L shaped border on vellum using the Scribble Flowers stamps without the words, and used the same set for the handmade embellishment. Making your own embellishments like this really makes a layout unique and very personal to you, it also allows you to make things exactly in the colours, sizes and textures you want.
